How did Thursday come so fast!? 
This keeps happening…

I’m grateful this week for baths! 


Don’t get me wrong. 
I HATE BATHS.

I never used to have to take them until my nerve damage made my bathroom habits hit and miss - literally.
Since I’ve been wearing pants, I need a bath about once a week.

Mom doesn’t even have a photo of me in taking a bath because it’s always such a dramatic production, so I’m borrowing some pics of other cats to illustrate this post. 
(Only the top and bottom pics are of me.) 


Yes, I hate baths.
But this funny thing happens once they’re FINALLY over.


This isn’t me, but it does look EXACTLY like me!


I feel wonderful.
Clean.
Fresh.
Fluffy.
I smell good.
I feel good. 
Life is good. 


Tomorrow is bath day and I’m glad my mom and dad care enough about me to  go to all the trouble of giving me one.

    ha ha – I've never had one, but M used to bathe their first kitty. She says Pepper would stand stiff as a board in the pan of water in the basement sink. After she had wrapped him in a towel to try to get most of the water off him, he would shake his furs and ger her all wet. he he Revenge is soo sweet.

    Cokie, I have a cat that used to get “poopy butt” all the time (he had tummy troubles and things got messy), so he got lots of baths. Usually in the middle of the night too! He is pretty used to them now, though he doesn't need them much anymore. You must have wonderful humans if they care about you that much!

    I don't do baths myself – if I am anywhere NEAR faucet, even if it is turned off, I panic! Which my human finds strange because she has had me since I was four months old and I've never had a bath, and Binga and Boodie have had only one each – and while they weren't happy about it, it wasn't particularly traumatic.
