Part of what I do here at Cokie the Cat: Hollywood Insider is give you the inside scoop on what’s going on in.. you know, Hollywood. Well, check this out. In honor of National Dog Day, I’m sharing this message for you from Disney and their new movie, “Frankenweenie!”
This new Tim Burton movie will be released in theatres on October 2nd in the U.S. The movie is made in the style of “Corpse Bride” and “Nightmare Before Christmas” with drawings, stop motion animation, and this time in black and white and 3-D. It’s a sweet story of a boy and his dog, loosely based on a the relationship Tim Burton had with his own dog, as a child – but with sort of a twist. ; )
I’ve been invited to a screening, but am holding out for the Premiere, since it will be right down the street from my apartment. So while you might get reviews earlier than mine, I hope to be tweeting live from the Red Carpet and after party with some super exclusives for my readers and followers.
